Tennessee and Nashville are booming, and so is Vanderbilt:
- Tennessee’s population is expected to grow by 50,000 people annually over the next 20 years (Boyd Center for Business and Economic Research, March 9, 2022)
- Davidson County grew by almost 9,000 people a year on average over the past decade (U.S. Census Bureau, 2020)
- Together, Vanderbilt University and Vanderbilt University Medical Center are the largest private employer in the Nashville region and the second-largest private employer based in Tennessee (TXP, Inc. report, 2019)
